At HonorHealth Orthopedics – Shea, we can treat patients with manual adjustment techniques, rehabilitative exercises, acupuncture, and Class IV laser therapy. The laser is a painless, non-invasive therapy that can relieve pain, reduce swelling and increase range of motion. We also use an Impulse IQ, which is an instrument that makes gentle adjustments on people who may be more sensitive, especially effective and popular with older patients. Stretching and strengthening exercises are prescribed to patients so they can increase their flexibility and muscle health. In terms of preventive care, we offer counseling on posture management, including best practices for reading, computer use and sleeping positions.
